Animal Park Munich - Zoo Munich Hellabrunn
The oldest Geo-Zoo of the world invites you to a tour of the park. It is an idyllic nature island within the landscape conservation area of the Isar meadow located directly in front of the gates of the cosmopolitan city of Munich. The zoo is divided into continents according to the Geo-zoo concept which results in 15 park areas in an area of 36 hectares.
The Munich Zoo Hellabrunn was founded in 1911 as the first Geo-zoo worldwide. The animals live according to their geographic distribution in complex communities.
