Theater for children Erfurt - Theater Waidspeicher Erfurt
Theater Waidspeicher is a repertory theater with 4 - 5 productions for adults and about 10 productions for children and teenagers.
There are 5 - 7 new productions as well as 50 - 60 guest performances in Germany, Europe and overseas every season. Over 30,000 visitors visit our theater on the Domplatz in Erfurt every year to see one or more of the almost 300 performances per season.
The ensemble works with diverse modern and traditional theater forms: drama, mask theater, marionette play hand and rod puppets, shadow theater, modern forms like computeranimations and videoscreening and more.
Our puppet theater has 142-seat auditorium and 30 employees.
The Waidspeicher theater offers the puppet theater and additionally the cabaret "Die Arche" in the upper floor.
