In Mannheim, Germany, just 20 minutes from Heidelberg, the company Heidelberg Gyrocopter Tours arranges these spectacular scenic flight excursions and courses in the so called GyroCopter. A GyroCopter is a small 2-seater combination of a helicopter and small airplane. It has been proven to be one of the safest ways of flying, even without the engine it can still make a safe landing!

Flying over the beautiful landscapes of  the Rhine-Neckar region or even the Odenwald forrest gives you an amazing feeling of freedom, this truly is an experience of a lifetime.
Rick Bueti is a fully licensed, native English speaking GyroCopter pilot and offers panoramic scenes, available January thru December.

Our sightseeing flights and formation flights (2 Copters and 2 passengers flying next to each other) will give you totally new impressions of your surroundings and unforgettable memories. Don't forget your camera! But if you do, we can also record a video of your flight with our helmet-cams on DVD or USB-Stick.

The design of our open canope copter makes flying a whole new experience, even if you have flown in airplanes or helicopters many times before. Just as it makes a difference whether you ride the bus or ride a motorcycle, there are worlds between flying in a gyrocopter and travelling in an airplane.
