Charmingly located are the villas and mansions right at the border of the lake Griebnitzsee.

Start here at Kayak- /Canoe Rental and Tours Griebnitzsee Station: 3-Lakes-Tour (14 km/4 hours), which is available as an individual or guided tour.

Paddle along the lake Griebnitzsee where you'll pass the Little white House of Truman, as well as the Churchill and Stalin Villa on your left side. Further down you'll see and pass the former hunting castle Glienicke as well as the Babelsberg palace. Then you'll have reached the river Havel and you can turn right directly towards the lovely romanic Basilica.
Now you can cross the lake Jungfernsee and paddle towards the New Garden with its famous Cecilienhof Palace and the Meierei. A brewery & restaurant which is lovely situated directly at the waterfront. Here you can rest, eat and drink until you'll feel strong enough for your way back.
