Vacation home near Berchtesgaden - Villa Gmain
This luxury holiday home is located in a quiet residential area of the village Großgmain (19km from Berchtesgaden away), near the Austrian-German border.
One enters the villa through a mirrored hallway, leading to two apartments. Each apartment ist about 23 sqm and features one fold-away sofa bed for one person, a desk, television, radio and a bathroom with shower/WC. One apartment is also equipped with a kitchenette, containing a microwave oven and refridgerator.
Large French windows open onto the garden. A stairway leads to the 65 sqm large first floor. It contains a living room, the masterbedroom, a bathroom with bathtub/WC and a fully equipped kitchen with washing mashine and dish washer.
The elegant living room is furnished with antiques, a sitting area, television, dining area for six persons and offers an illuminated gallery. The master bedroom has built-in cupboards and also television. The antiques have been restored and tastefully upholstered. There are marble floors throughout the whole villa, with under-floor heating.
Next to the house there is parking space for two cars. The price includes weekly cleaning as well as change of bed-linen and towels. In Großgmain there are supermarkets, a hairdresser and beauty salon, banks and three restaurants.
Furthermore the village has a open-air swimming pool, cross-country ski track, a sports centre and numerous walking trails. A ski-resort is nearby. A short drive or regular bus service takes you to the spa town of Bad Reichenhall or to the Salzburg Festival Halls. The airport of Salzburg and the Festival Halls are a 15 minutes drive away.
The lakes Thumsee, Hintersee, Waginger See, Högwörther See, Aschauer Weiher and Chiemsee with its lovely hotels, yacht harbours and lake-side walks are between 5 and 30 minutes away.
